Brandon Altamirano’s family had hoped he would become an accountant, but he had different aspirations. In 2016, at the young age of 22, he won a reality TV show featuring anticuchos with heart. As his prize, he was provided with a small and humble anticucheria in Surquillo. This was the beginning of his career as an anticucho chef.
Brandon’s journey as an anticucho chef began in 2012 when he worked alongside the famous Señora Grimanesa Vargas during Mixtura.
